Last night I went to Tennis Indoor Senayan to see Fall Out Boy “FRNZ or NMEZ” concert. I was sooo excited since it’s the 1st concert I’ve been come to. I caught a cab from my house n arrived there 1st. a few minutes later Pipi, Mike, Sherli, Novi, Budi and his friends arrived. We queued to enter the front gate and there were so many kids there. By kids I mean 6-12 years old kids who brought their mom and dad or even their nanny to the concert. I don’t think FOB’s music suits those kids. Plus, Pete said too many “F” word last night. Too much for babies but not for us.

We met Boris and friends inside and waited for almost 2 hours before the show started. All of the audience went mad the second they came out to the stage. They sang almost 15 songs from different albums.

I think FOB ROCKS!! Especially Petey!! He knows the crowd loves him, and he knows exactly what to do to make the crowd goes crazy. He spins a lot and when they were singing their last song, suddenly Pete jumped towards the audience and caught by one of the crew who lifted him long enough in the middle of the wild crowd. Just before he left the stage, he took of his t-shirt and threw it to the audience. And all at once, the crowd went, “KYAAAAAA!!!!” And believe me I was one of those girls screaming and reaching for Pete. Though I know I couldn’t reach him since I was a tribune citizen. *feel so stupid*

Everyone was trying to grab Petey. If you're lucky you might get a different angle where I stupidly reached for him too.

About FOB's performance, don’t take my opinion easily since it’s the 1st live concert for me. I’ve asked Pipi and Boris for their comment about last night’s performance. Boris said the sound system wasn’t good at all. The sound system they used for Saosin’s concert was far far far better. And he kept on saying the overall performance was just okay, while Pipi said the crowd on the tribune area sucked. Maybe it’s because we’re sitting far away from the stage. We could’ve felt the excitement better if we were standing and joined the people moshing on the festival zone.

After the show I saw a few indo celebs among the audience. There were Bams, Tata Tangga, Sogi Extravaganza, and Sophan Sophian’s son who turned out to be Boris’ friend.

I would definitely go to the next cool concert, the Black Eyed Peas. I’m just hoping that the ticket would be affordable enough for me and my friends. I couldn’t imagine the excitement.
