bling bling

I always love bling bling. Shiny stuffs always make me turn my head and show my dreamy eyes.

Since I first saw my CDMA phone (before I bought it), I knew that someday I would put some rhinestones on it and make it a bling gadget. So two days ago, I went to Plaza Indonesi (Toko Renda) and bought some flatback crystals.

I went home that day, tried so hard (by hard, I mean I spent almost 3 hours) to find a cute or cool design to put the crystals. But nothing was good enough for me, so I put the crystals back on its plastic container and went to sleep.

The next day I decided to googled some good and simple design. I was a little bit shocked when I found so many things bling-ed up, from the most common one to the most uncommon but gorgeous ones.

There's one Netherlands company which actually specialized in headphones custom design for famous DJs, it's called Bling Affair. They put Swarovski crystals all over your headphones and make it on of a kind with the design you choose. But they are now taking orders for your other gadget too.

Here are some of the designs :

Digital Camera

iPod Video, but they also do iPod Shuffle and Nano.

Hey, they crystalize the earphones too!! Cute!

Sony PSP

Zippo

And finally their masterpiece, the headphones...

I personally think the skull and crossbones are super cool!!

On other site I found other cute bling bling items.

Blutooth headset

Lipsticks cases (Kinda useless I think, since yo don't show your lipstick case that much..)

Namecard holders

I found another cool stuffs!!

TADAAA!!! Office stationary!! They're the Jeweled Desk Set. You can get the optical mouse and stapler for $80 each and the tape dispenser for $89 on Neiman Marcus. I'd love to have a set! Haha...

Enjoy your bling drinks! I love the bottle. The tall and slim shape, the smooth tempered glass, the logo's font, everything not forgetting the bling! I wonder if the water taste as fabulous...

And now, I'm about to present you the most amazing office stationary slash jewelry. Are you ready?

Isn't it amazing? It's Phillip Swarovski Crystal USB Flash Drive. You can wear it as a necklace too. Each drive is studded with real Swarovski crystal and you can have it for $2000. What a price...

Well anyways, after all the blings I found on the internet I still didn't find the perfect design for my phone. So I decided to just glued the crystals on my phone without further thinking. By the way, the glue I bought at Toko Renda is great. It has a super pointy-needle like tip to make it easier to glue small piece as crystals. It's a special glue for crafts actually.

I spent 4 straight hours gluing the rhinestones to get my phone its new look :

My bling phone

It's not that "Paris Hilton" enough. But I'm quite happy with the result. I used the grey, white and turquoise crystals. When I get bored with it, I could just remove all the crystals, clean the glue marks and apply new designs. Hmm... I'm thinking of a few cool aor cute colors for next time. Hahaha...

I had fun doing this kinda things and I'm thinking of my other gadget to be bling-ed up.

*speaking to my NDS*

Do you wanna get a beautiful new look? Yes, I knew you do! Patient..patient.. I'm gonna bling you up soon!! Nyahahahhahha....

The results of my analysis say:

You plan ahead, and are interested in beauty, design, outward appearance, and symmetry.
You are a social person who likes to talk and meet others.
You are diplomatic, objective, and live in the present.
You are a talkative person, maybe even a busybody!
You are self-confident and like to bring attention to yourself.

Simon's right! It's always fun to try these kinda things!

i realize...

I read a post just now and I realized I've been a really bad person.

I saw a picture of a little boy sitting on a bed in a hospital. He was waiting for his chemotherapy procedure to be done. Yes, he's suffering cancer. He looked so frail and terrified. He looked tired. He kept on calling his mommy with his powerless voice.

Could you imagine what kind of days he has to go through? What kind of fear he has in mind? What kind of pain he has to suffer? How many gloomy face he has to see everyday? He has to bear the pain while trying to understand what is happening to himself. He's just a little boy.

I'm picturing him...
Playing with his friends.
Running here and there.
Thinking happy thoughts.
Being careless and free.

I always think that I'm living a boring and sad life. I always feel like I don't have enough of everything. I ask for too many things and always get a little upset whenever I talk about how I couldn't get those things.

Never realized...

I still have my "super ribet" family.
I still have my silly friends.
I still have my job.
And most importantly, I'm healthy up till this very moment...

I guess I have to be grateful for things that I have and stop complaining about ones I don't have...

p.s. my prayers for Pak Danang, the little boy in the picture, and all people fighting cancer.
Gotta keep that burning spirit and never cease till you get your life back...
